I did convert this photo to B&W, but I find on a cloudy day, winter scenes are so monocromatic.  The trees look black, and the snow and sky look white!

I was actually taking my stern-face passport photo because I am due for a renewal.  And the NZ system is so great that you can take it yourself and submit it all online.  This little miss decided she wanted to be in it too!!
