{228/365} Rest Time

This is one of those photo’s that speaks so loudly to me, but probably no one else.  It represents the kids so well.  It depicts innovation, creativity, resourcefulness, and pushing the boundaries. They had been nit picking at each other all morning so I told them they were going to go to their own quiet corner for a while to read.  They asked if they could pick spots outside.  Sure, I said.

They all got one of our outdoor quilts.  Sequoia got a piece of plywood to make a solid platform on top.  Neika grabbed the bogey boards.  Ashton was  on the quilt behind him, and Malakai had one in another corner, until he asked if he could climb up and join Sequoia.  They are always thinking, always inventing a new game and always, always creating a new mess!  Just the way childhood should be.
