We went camping for the weekend!  You can read more about it here.

More progress on the back deck……Malakai is watching the digger/back hoe out the window, as it digs holes for the piles which have to go waaay down to cope with this frozen land in the winter.

More biking!  This time on Old Stumpy trail, and we got to see a little moose!

He has biked many many miles.  But this is his very first ‘real’ mountain biking trip.  Lazy Lizard trail.  And he is  quite literally begging for more 🙂

Down come the big cedars in our front yard.  I have been reluctant because they help protect me from the ‘fish bowl’ of living in town with neighbors.  I’m pleasantly surprised that them being gone, makes our house look better, and it doesn’t change our privacy too much either!!

We are trying (unsuccessfully) to dig pile holes for our new back deck.  Monstrous rocks are causing havoc, though we have many willing workers, all wearing their safety boots.
