{59/365} Rainbow Girl

We spent the day at Frank Slide – the deadliest slide in Canada is it’s claim to fame.  We checked out the interpretive Centre for a couple of hours, and then went for a walk for a couple of hours.  Here you see Turtle Mountain where a big chunk of rock slid (93 million tonnes!) taking out a portion of Frank township in 1903, killing close to 100 people.  The slide debri is massive, and the couple of times we have stopped there the kids have loved clambering over the boulders.  Neika is a little like ‘where’s waldo/wally’ in the picture!!  See if you can spot her.59
