The big girls are home from school with bad cough’s.  Little girl sure loves to play!

Yesterday Neika’s teacher told her not to come to school today if she was still coughing.  And since they are all coughing, I figured I’d keep them all home to go skiing!  Yeah, I’m a good Mum??  Anyway, I had a fab day up the hill, with 4 kids for the morning, and 3 bigger ones for the afternoon.  I was telling the kids on the chairlift ride before the photo that my goal for my photography for the year was getting more ‘fun’ photo’s.  We disembarked the chairlift and headed for the top of the run we were planning on doing.  As I was getting my camera ready they started rolling around in the snow and doing funky things with their ski’s.  I’m guessing that was their interpretation of FUN!!!

Lemon and honey drinks to drive away the winter germs that have caught up with us.  The first sips produced puckered faces – too much lemon, too little honey!  Once we got the ratio right we settled into watching Planet Earth.  Very fascinating!

She really loves these little slippers.  If they aren’t on her feet, she is looking for them, exclaiming and oohing and aahing in her baby babble about where they could be!

Cabin fever often sets in for me when I am home doing home stuff.  Kent kicked me out of the house, so I went cross country skiing by myself.  I wanted to check out a new loop trail that they have just started grooming close to our house.  All was good for the first 2/3 then I must of taken a wrong turn and ended up in some dumb place that wasn’t very easy to ski!

He loves his animals. I love them too.  They are schliech (sp?) brand – awesome quality and so realistic.  They have been getting their collection built up over the last couple of christmas’ and birthdays and they had fun playing with them in the bath tonight.

It is so awesome to be outside in the winter,  breathing the fresh air, and chatting with some girls as we snowshoe along.  Kent is awesome about watching the kids so I can be out here.  I feel grateful and spoiled!

He had the brilliant idea this morning of sticking his birthday balloons to the ceiling with static electricity.  I managed to get most of them to stay up there for him, and his game was to try and use other balloons to bash them down to the floor.  It was an energy filled frenzy – a great way for him to burn off some steam.

I posted one of this series of pictures in my 365’s.  And I just wanted to add some more here, just cuz they had so much fun!!  Kent called the funny stripy red/blue balloon, the placenta balloon!!20150115Baloons-1320150115Baloons-3220150115Baloons-3520150115Baloons-4220150115Baloons-5420150115Baloons-5720150115Baloons-7820150115Baloons-10320150115Baloons-113
